Dr Marvel's two presentations were well received - telling the story of potions past - from Cocaine Toothache Drops to Pink Pills. In particular, he followed the path of the American snake oil salesmen originating in the 19th century. (Thanks to Alan Starks.)
Most visitors were surprised to find an 'ailing' lady in bed in the main bedroom, but invariably wished her well! (Thanks to Marilyn for sticking out the day.)
