Thing 1 and Thing 2 welcomed visitors. Many an adult re-lived their childhood, while children found their favourite books. Some children came dressed as a character. Our own Cat in the Hat was loose throughout. Each room represented different books and included an array of hands-on activities.
Childen also searched for Dr Seuss' unusual creatures such as 'Yottle in that Bottle', Zillow on my Pillow' and 'Jertain behind the Curtain'.
One of the activities in 'The Lorax' room was to think about and select an activity to assist the environment. You could also take home a pack of sunflower seeds.
The Gift Shop was busy with many handcrafts and sweet treats.
